Home Movie Film Repair
We can repair most problems with your home movie film. Tears, broken leaders, and other issues can be corrected so you can play it on your own projector, or we can perform repairs during our transfer of your movies to DVD. We can also color correct and enhance the brightness of your movies during a transfer to digital DVD.
Video Tape Repair
Cavill Video can repair most problems with video tapes. We can excise crumpled sections, fix twisted and jammed tape, and in extreme instances even spool the tape into a brand new casing.
DVD Repair
We can remove scratches and dings that render your DVD unplayable. Please note that the side with the label is actually where the information is stored, so if there is a scratch or scrape on that side, some of your data or video may be unrecoverable. We will do our best to recover everything, transferring it to a new DVD if necessary.
CDs and video game discs can be repaired in a similar fashion.
